Job summary: 
To oversee all operations function for Kiwi Movers, including but not limited to, the allocation of labour for jobs, vehicles and all equipment operated by Kiwi Movers. The Foreman will also assist on jobs where required and be responsible for the actions of the team assigned to the job where applicable (as a driver or porter). 

Minimum requirements: 
Must hold a valid UK work permit 
Must hold a valid driver’s licence (UK preferred – notify of any points given) 
Fit and healthy with a sports enjoyment factor 
Good command of verbal and written English 
Able to work weekends and public holidays 
Able to work out of hours and be on call 24/7 for emergencies 
Have good knowledge of fleet & project management 
Have excellent communication skills to liaise with new and prospective clientèle 
Have basic handyman skills to assemble fixtures and fittings 
– Minimum age requirement: 25yrs 
– Must have 2yr work visa and/or EU passport Holder 

Key Responsibilities: 
Assist and carry out duties as directed by the Operations /General Manager 
Complete all jobs as tasked in accordance with Driver/Porter duties 
Allocate all labour to jobs in advance 
Oversee & maintain storage units 
Plan, implement and oversee all staff training for drivers and porters 
Run weekly meetings with team leaders and the office Administrator 
Ensure that all vehicle equipment and engines are checked weekly 
Maintain the ‘Ops’ board for the current and forthcoming week 
Ensure all vehicles are maintained regularly and permits kept up to date; 
– All vehicle maintenance is scheduled & completed to avoid down time 
Conduct an operations update with the General Manager (min. bi-weekly) 
Ensure all H&S requirements are satisfied accordingly before any jobs take place 
Maintain RAMS for the Kiwi Group and/or on a project by project basis 
Monitor all sub-contractors licence and visa status for insurance & legal purposes 
Ensure weekly checks are done on all tool boxes; stock control and sign off register
