Most interesting move you have managed: A 10 bedroom house I surveyed just off Oxford Street 
in the West End. For a house in that area it was massive!
Interesting Fact: I am training for the Paris Marathon (editors note: Jake’s being modest here, he 
completed his first marathon last year (London) in 3 hrs 15mins…a bit of a gun)
Hobbies: Travelling, music, food and most sports

CB: Irish
MH: Hendo

How do you think Kiwi Movers compares to other Removal and Logistics companies in London?
CB: The staff. Our team have a huge range of skills which enables us to undertake a variety of jobs. 
I’m a qualified Engineer for instance!
MH: Very good, a higher level of service and a much more professional appearance than many other companies.
Most interesting job lately?
CB: I spent a number of weeks as a Supervisor on a new Data Centre site in Cambridge, which was working to a tight
timeline and running a team of 5.
MH: Three day shop move for a high end Chelsea furniture company was interesting, some really old antiques
and some massively heavy pieces of furniture.
How would you rate the English Summer so far? 
CB: Excellent, I’m now a darker shade of white.

MH: Pretty amazing really, considering I’ve only been here six months and was pre-warned the summers here are garbage.Best place you’ve travelled to so far in Europe?

CB: So far it has to be with with my friends back home. What any awe inspiring weekend. 

MH: Brussells in Belgium, amazing food and beer, good nightlife.Do you play sports in London? Is so which team and what position?

CB: Rugby with the Battersea Ironside’s as fullback.
MH: Play football for BB Eagles FC. Right back or right midfield but I’m the utility of our team and often end up in every 

position on the park.

Full Name?  Simon Blayne de Vries

Nickname?  Top dog…no not really, it’s Blayne. 
 

How does it feel to win this award for the 2nd time in less than 3 months?  Great to be doing well, ha ha. Surprised not to have won it three times to be honest…!

Your now known as the Master Remover at Kiwi Movers (and probably the whole of London)…what tips do you have out their for any new recruits/novices?  Stay focused, ask questions and keep fit. 

How do you think Kiwi Movers compares to other removal and man and van companies in London?  Cant say I know a lot about the other companies, but I do know we have a good crew of friendly hard working guys.
Have you had anymore interesting moves lately?  We moved a film company which was interesting also dismantled and removed a bar from the Guildhall to an old church.
How would you rate the English Summer so far?  The English summer has been surprisingly pleasing, even hot for a time.
Best place you’ve travelled to so far in Europe?  Croatia was amazing.
Do you play sports in London? If so, which team and what position?  I play rugby, touch, mixed netball and tennis. In netball I play goal attack and in rugby, Fly Half.

What do you enjoy most about working for Kiwi Movers? All the guys. They’re a great bunch of lads and all up for a laugh.
